Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and Clewo for your use of Clewo. By joining Clewo or signing in, you accept them.

1. What Clewo is

Clewo takes the essence of the links you save and keeps it, why you need it and its source in one place. Clewo is in early access: it is open to people accepted from the waitlist, and it is free.

2. Your account

  • You must be over 18 to use Clewo.
  • Your account is yours alone; you cannot share it.
  • Your sign-in links and codes are for you. Do not pass them on; you are responsible for everything done in your account.

3. Rules of use

When you use Clewo, you agree not to:

  • Save unlawful content or use Clewo for an unlawful purpose,
  • Send Clewo content you have no right to access,
  • Use Clewo through automated tools, overload it, or try to get around its security or work out its source code,
  • Open more than one account to go beyond your plan's daily save limit.

4. Your content

The links you send, your notes and your boards are yours. You let us process them only as far as needed to provide the service: to prepare your cards, keep them and show them to you.

The rights in the sources you save belong to their owners. Clewo offers a source's essence and a link back to it; it does not publish a copy of the content.

5. Cards prepared with AI

Your cards are prepared with AI and may contain mistakes. Clewo is a tool for curating, not for verifying. Go back to the source before an important decision.

6. The state of the service

Clewo is in early access and provided "as is". Features may change and the service may be interrupted. We try to give notice of an important change.

7. Closing your account

You can delete your account at any time; the Privacy Policy describes how. If you breach these terms seriously or repeatedly, we may suspend or close your account.

8. Liability

We run Clewo with care, but to the extent the law allows, we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or free of errors, and we are not liable for losses from decisions based on what cards say. This does not affect liability that cannot be limited by law or your rights as a consumer.

9. Changes

When we change these terms, we update their version number and effective date. For an important change, we ask you to accept the new version the next time you sign in. Earlier versions are kept.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. As a consumer, you keep your right to bring a dispute before the consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts the law provides for, and any right the law of your country of residence gives you.
